The release of new 2015 World Heritage calendar application for PCs and tablets was announced by The UNESCO World Heritage Centre and Panasonic Corporation. The calendar application is available in five languages of Japanese, English, French, Chinese and Spanish.
The calendar features stunning photographs of World Heritage sites from around the world, fun facts and trivia about World Heritage sites, and the pictures can be viewed as a slideshow. The application was developed as an educational tool for the UNESCO Associated Schools Project Network of more than 9,000 educational institutions in 180 countries, and Panasonic plans to enhance the content of the calendar in the future.
