Japan, 23 July 2013
On July 5, 2013, the winners of the "7th Kids Design Award (*1)" organized by the Kids Design Association, a Cabinet approved NPO, were announced. Panasonic received 10 awards (2 of which were jointly submitted), the highest number of awards among all entrants; this is the second year in a row that Panasonic has achieved such a great feat.
These awards are presented to products and activities that help encourage and promote the safety, security, and growth of children. Panasonic has received an award every year since the Kids Design Award was inaugurated in 2007. Some of the awards it has received include the gold award (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry's Award), various category awards, judges' pick award, and the Kids Design Association Chairman's award.
