Panasonic today announced that it has been awarded two prestigious 2013 TIPA awards, widely recognized as one of the most coveted photo and imaging awards worldwide. Panasonic’s LUMIX DMC-GH3 has been awarded ‘Best CSC Professional’ and the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FT5(TS5) ‘Best Rugged Compact Camera’ while Panasonic’s SDHC Gold, Silver and Blue series Memory Cards won the prize for the ‘Best Imaging Storage Media’.
Harris Soejima, Managing Director of Panasonic Consumer Marketing Europe, said, “We go to great lengths to ensure our digital cameras deliver the best photographic experiences possible. Since 2008, when we introduced the first Digital Single Lens Mirrorless to the market, the system camera market has grown with this new Micro Four Thirds system and we’ve had great success attracting both professionals and step-up users. Entering the compact camera market ten years ago, we are also one of the newest competitors in this market, so it’s a real privilege to be recognized for the quality of our rugged compact cameras. Furthermore we provide a wide range of high performance memory cards for all usage needs which are not only high performing but also offer secure data storage. It is great to see our efforts rewarded with such industry accolades and we’re honored to again be recognized by the respected international journalists that judge the TIPA awards.”
